Online Course: Geometry: Teaching About Shapes and Their Measures

Adult basic education students need foundational geometry and measurement skills not only to succeed in GED math, but also in the workplace. In this course, you will explore strategies for teaching key topics in geometry, such as area, perimeter, and volume, and their importance in everyday life. You'll look at numerous instructional activities for teaching about angles, spatial relationships, similarity, and figure transformations on a coordinate graph system.

The course runs from October 29 to December 14, 2012.
