The National Literacy Directory
To extend our reach and connect more people to the resources they need, ProLiteracy has joined forces with the National Center for Family Literacy and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to create a national database of local adult basic education and literacy programs throughout the U.S.
and GED test centers are included in the National Literacy Directory.
In addition to an online database, The National Literacy Directory features a toll-free number (877-38YOURGED) that adults can call to get local program referrals. Web and phone referrals are available in both English and Spanish, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Promoting the National Literacy Directory with a GED Pep Talk
To encourage more people to obtain their GED certification, the Ad Council and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation have created a GED Pep Talk ad campaign featuring a few words of wisdom from some familiar faces.
