This paper discusses the use of technology in adult education and the challenges faced prior to the pandemic. It highlights the increase in distance learning during the pandemic and the potential of technology to enhance and extend learning opportunities. The author suggests using technology integration frameworks such as TPACK, SAMR, and the Triple E Framework to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional decisions.
It emphasizes collaborating with peers and the importance of evaluating design and technology integration, considering access as an evaluation measure. The paper concludes that structured technology integration and formative evaluation can help build a new normal in adult education.
