3al Asl Tawar—Feeding the future in Egypt through literacy.
Our Feeding Minds Youth Literacy Project is a three year initiative to strengthen the core literacy skills of at-risk youth and young adults in the area around Cairo, Egypt.
Funded by Yum! Foundation and KFC, we are working with our partner Anba Moussa Al-Aswad Association (ANBA) in Egypt to train teachers on using our proven Laubach Way to Reading methodology, which has been localized in Arabic, to provide literacy education for 600 at-risk youth and young adults ages 12–35.
International Literacy Day: In partnership with the Yum! Foundation and KFC, we will help spread literacy and spur lifelong learning throughout Egypt.
