Conference Scholarships

Apply Now! Deadline is May 1st

Mary Anne Nelson, a longtime tutor trainer and adult literacy supporter, established the Mary Anne Nelson Training Fund for ProLiteracy in 2016. Mary Anne made this generous gift because she knows the importance of staying current on adult literacy trends and training after many years as a tutor training in California.

Thanks to the Mary Anne Nelson Training Fund and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, ProLiteracy will be able to offer 20 practitioner scholarships for the 2017 ProLiteracy Conference on Adult Literacy.

These awards enable adult literacy professionals lacking financial support to have the opportunity to attend our valuable conference.

Scholarships are valued at approximately $500 and includ:

  • Complimentary full-conference registration
  • $125 travel stipend
