Once again, ProLiteracy has received Charity Navigator’s top rating of four stars, this year increasing our overall score to a perfect 100%.
Charity Navigator’s unbiased ratings help donors verify that an organization they want to support is healthy and fiscally responsible. To determine the overall score of an organization, Charity Navigator examines its practices related to:
- Accountability and Finance
- Leadership and Adaptability
- Culture and Community
“Receiving perfect scores in each of these three areas certainly reflects our passion for the work we do to improve lives and communities through adult literacy. But it also looks heavily on how we govern ourselves, how we are good stewards of our money, and how we define culture and a welcoming workplace for all,” said ProLiteracy’s Vice President of Development Stephen Carr.
