Research/Report
This paper debates the critical issues of literacy and women’’s self-sufficiency. Women around the world play a significant role in the economy but often face challenges in earning enough to escape poverty. ProLiteracy’s Women in Literacy programs aim to empower women by providing basic skills instruction, fostering self-esteem, and promoting action projects for economic growth.
By addressing these issues, women can become self-sufficient, contributing to their families and communities while driving economic growth in their countries.
