This article focuses on recruitment strategies for adult basic education (ABE) programs. To effectively recruit learners, programs should collect targeted data to understand their motivations. Identifying a target audience based on geographic, demographic, and psychographic variables can help tailor marketing efforts.
Collaboration with businesses and community partners can offer both recruitment and employment opportunities. Additionally, insights from other fields, such as out-of-school youth programs, can inform successful recruitment campaigns. Resources and toolkits are available to support program implementation.
