CONFERENCE 2024

Join us in Baltimore for our 2024 Conference!

We are passionate about leading the adult literacy field to the best practices for program and student success. This is why every two years we host our national conference to share the latest instructional trends, up-to-date research, and expert-led panel discussions on policy and innovation to influence practice and build program capacity.

Join us in Baltimore, MD, on October 6-9 and immerse yourself in this vibrant community of adult literacy practitioners and leaders for four days of open dialogue, idea sharing, and collaboration with peers from around the country.

The ProLiteracy Conference on Adult Education brings together a diverse range of individuals from organizations of all sizes to address the most pressing adult literacy and basic education issues today.

Join us and gain perspective on new technologies, innovative instructional tools and strategies, and leadership skills that you can take back to build the capacity of your program.

Our 2022 conference was a huge success.

As leading champions for the adult literacy field, we drew hundreds of practitioners, researchers, and advocates to our 2022 conference in San Antonio, Texas. After the pandemic delayed the conference for a year, everyone was excited to finally be together in person.

The 2022 conference featured more than 110 professional learning workshops; an awards luncheon honoring innovative programs, tutors, and students making progress in adult education; and networking events to learn from and have fun with one another. It was a true celebration of everyone’s efforts to advance adult literacy everywhere.
